Olasiva
Communities of mentorship and belonging that empower young people to grow in identity, confidence, and purpose.
Our story
Our Story Olasiva was born from years of walking alongside young people — listening to their stories, witnessing their potential, and seeing the challenges they face. Across schools, families, and communities, one truth became clear: many young people are receiving an education, yet they are still searching for identity, belonging, confidence, healthy relationships, practical life skills, and a sense of purpose. At the same time, many parents, guardians, and caring adults want to guide the next generation but often feel they cannot do it alone in a rapidly changing world.
This led us to a simple but life-shaping question: What if every young person had a community intentionally walking alongside them?
That question became the seed from which Olasiva grew.
We were founded on the belief that no single person can raise a generation. True transformation happens when families, mentors, teachers, faith leaders, counsellors, professionals, elders, and volunteers choose to work together to create safe, supportive environments where young people can grow.
This is UTU — I am because we are.
Today, Olasiva is building communities of guidance, mentorship, and belonging. We bring together people from different backgrounds who share one commitment: to walk with young people with wisdom, compassion, and purpose — helping them discover who they are, develop the skills they need for life, and grow into responsible leaders who positively influence their families, communities, and society.
Because every young person deserves more than an education — they deserve a community that believes in them.
Our mission
To walk alongside young people by creating communities of mentorship, life skills learning, and belonging that empower them to discover their identity, build resilience, grow in leadership, and live with purpose.
Our vision
To see every young person embraced by a community of care — rooted in UTU — where they are safe, valued, and empowered to discover their identity, develop their potential, and grow into responsible, confident, purpose-driven leaders who uplift their families, communities, and society.
What guides us
Our values shape how we walk with young people, how we serve families and communities, and how we choose to lead with compassion, dignity, and purpose every day.
